EKU alum launches KickStarter campaign Sept. 18
While a student at EKU, Dwaine Evans started his own company. Now an alum from Ashland, Evans is initiating a KickStarter.com campaign to raise funds and awareness of his new venture, Podz Gear.
The Podz Gear product is a patent pending base layer garment that uses the circulatory system to distribute heat throughout the body. Inventor and co-owner Evans graduated in May 2012 with a degree in Industrial Safety and Risk Management.
Evans was an EKU Business and Technology Accelerator client and continues his relationship with EKU as an Innovation and Commercialization Center (ICC) client.
