Kristel Smith, Executive Director of EKU's Innovation and Commercialization Center, has been appointed by  Gov. Steve Beshear to serve on the Commission on Small Business Advocacy. Smith, whose term will expire Aug. 22, 2016, will represent the 6th Congressional District.
